Celebrating Scoots
Its so hard to believe that our little guy is 2! Time goes way too fast! Scott's birthday is on the 17th, so we decided to celebrate it a little early at my sister's house when we got together to do an Easter Egg hunt. We had a great time! I thought it'd be good to get Scott a Bolt cake when I saw it had a cat and dog on it - these are things we've been working on with KOTM. As soon as he saw that cake he started saying "woof woof" and panting like a dog; it was very cute. What I really loved, was when we sat around singing "Happy Birthday," he got so embarrassed! Scott covered his eyes, being so coy, at the idea of everyone singing to him - so cute! We got it on video, but unfortunately we cannot afford to be up to date, and only got it on film - not digital. So, one of these years we may digitize it.....we'll see. But it was darling! After the birthday celebration, we had our egg hunt. Scott was so excited just to get one egg that he didn't realize that he could find more! He'd stop and try to get into it to get the treat!
And, as if cake and ice cream (and Easter candy) weren't enough, they decorated Easter cookies too! It was a diabetic nightmare (but fun, nonetheless)! It was a great day!
