The New Splash Park

Just recently I was reading the newspaper and there was an article about a new local splash park that I hadn't previously heard anything about! Of course when we found out a new way to get wet, we had to go check it out! So, I posted on my FaceBook that we were going to go over and invited anyone who happened to see the post and we got quite a group! We looked like a funeral procession as we drove out of the neighborhood! The boys had a great time and we've gone back a few more times since! It's fun and it's free.....what could be more enticing on a hot summer day?

It turns out that they have a fountain built into a huge concrete patio, that spits water out at you, like the fountain at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City. Then, they had a separate area that was a man-made stream for the kids to wade in. Scott enjoyed climbing up on the same little rock over and over and just stomping into the water. Jared and Gavin ran around crazy in the fountain and thoroughly enjoyed sitting the center on top of the strongest, largest burst of water! If you haven't gone yet, you should check it out!
