August 2009 Wave Running

Of course there was our annual tradition to uphold of renting a wave runner for the day and going out with the kids to Deer Creek Reservoir. We had a blast! This time we invited my sisters and their kids to join and the cousins had a blast! It's always fun to take someone out who hasn't been out for a long time, (or in some cases....ever)! The winds had kicked up for awhile so we were worried it might end up being too cold of a day, but it worked out and we had a great time! While some of us were out on the machine, the rest of us would hang out on the shore and play in the sand. Needless to say.....the kids slept well that night! (And so did I!)
