Well, Saturday we arrived at the airport about an hour and a half prior to our flight. The kids were so excited they could hardly stand it. Gavin kept asking if our "blue jet" was ready. He meant "Jet Blue." They asked our lady who checked our baggage in, if they could meet the pilot. She said she'd try to get them in to see him. Long story short, the boys were able to m
eet "Pilot Scott" on the way off the plane. He was a really nice guy who had the boys sit in the pilot and co-pilot seats. They thought that was pretty "awesome" - to quote Jared. Grandpa & Grandma were at the airport waiting and we were off to their house.Father's Day has been a little irregular. Grandpa & Grandma have 8 am church, so we (meaning the kids and I) weren't able to get our act together fast enough to make breakfast for Dad & Grandpa. They did, ho
wever get a big breakfast because Grandma had her act together and had a full course meal prepared for everyone - she is amazing. (I admit to feeling a little guilty, but appreciative) We went to their ward and it was nice. They boys were a bit apprehensive going to a foreign primary with unfamiliar rooms and unfamiliar people. After a little coersion, Gavin was alright with it and went to class with his brother. They came out happy. They made candy leis for the D
ad's with saran-wrap and ribbon. Both they and Michael thought they were pretty cool! For our Father's Day gift we painted paintings for both Dad and Grandpa Brown to put in their offices. I'll post pictures for these next few entries when we get home!

That's cool that they were able to sit in the pilots seats! hope you got pictures!
I love when the airlines let the kids do that. Trent even got some pilot wings, though they were a sticky back and not a pokey since kids were getting hurt from them.
