Home, Sweet Home

No, we're not back yet from our trip, but it was so nice to go to the beach today. Unless you have beenimported like we have to Utah, you don't understand how much we miss the beach! It really is a lot of your life when you grow up along the coast in California. I guess my father in-law said he heard on the news this morning that several beaches were shut down because of a sewage spill in Glendale. We weren't sure if we'd find anywhere approved to be able to go, but we did. It was sparse there - so lets hope it was alright for us to be there. Technically they're supposed to post stuff if its not safe..... We had a great time looking for shells, burying the kids in sand, and watching Jared scream like a girl (see photo), as he ran from the waves when they came into the shore! We've also got plans this evening to take Michael's Mom's Mom (Grandma Coleman) to dinner. She's such a cute lady!

Here are their Ariel inspired mermaid shirts they made from sea shells! And here is yet, another slideshow:

Your kids are getting so big. We totally understand about the beach. We've been lucky to live close to one since leaving Utah. We were on the Gulf of Mexico in Texas, and now we live practically next door to Lake Erie in Michigan. We hope to get out to Utah next year! -Kirsten
