We made it to my parents at around 5:00 or so, showered everyone and Michael became scarce for awhile. We were both asked to speak in church on Sunday and the week had been so busy that we were both scrambling to finish up what we had prepared to speak about for 10 minutes each! Then we had yet another BBQ and hung out with my parents and my sisters Kim (and Tyson) and Kelly and her family because that night was their city firework show. The fireworks didn't start until 10 pm and I'd say right around 9 pm a thunderstorm rolled in. The winds were way too strong and it was raining off and on. What a bummer! We drove down to where we'd saved a spot on the lawn nearby the launching area to see if they were still going to attempt it and finally at 10:30 they announced that they were going to postpone it! We were sad we'd waited around all night for nothing and the kids were really bummed. At that point we were hesitant to commit to the kids that we'd come back again for the fireworks in a couple days, because it makes for such long nights! Its hard on Scootie, and once he's whiny, its not fun for anyone! Not to mention we have 9am church and Michael and I still had to quickly review what we'd prepared for our talks! Yikes! 9am came very quickly!

Hey, I loved both of your talks. You did well.
Cool background music by David Cook by the way. I also really like "Front Porch Lookin' In"
Looks like a fun day!
Your talks were great!
